The Zabraks are my favorite Star Wars species besides the Chiss. I get this feeling that Maris would try and seduce Maul XD
I loved drawing Maul, so there'll be more of him in the future. Not so sure about Maris though; I can't capture her quite right.
(In a alternate universe wheres Darth Maul survived in the Rise of the Empire and the Original Trilogy events, in an Canon shared with elements from Legends):
Darth Maul, the fallen Sith Lord and former apprentice of Darth Sidious was in your spaceship in the space, in these times the New Republic born and the Galactic Empire fall, Darth Sidious and Darth Vader died and Luke Skywalker, the son of Anakin started a new Jedi Academy in Yavin IV.
Maul travels to Unknown Regions to investigate the Imperial Remnant who was exiled in this strange part of the Galaxy, during this mission he stoped in a strange hostile planet who arrived to explore their life, he fought strange creatures, but during this, he saw an zabrak pale girl with two short lightsabers killing a creature and entering in a cave, Maul senses the Dark Side more strong in this girl, he walks next to cave and she appears igniting his two lightsaber.
???: Who are you stranger ?
Maul: I am the Old Master... or an old master of the Sith...
???: You is a Sith ?
Maul: Yes, I am Darth Maul, the true last Sith Lord, the Emperor is dead...
???: I am Maris, I am Dark Jedi who I hided myself during the rise of the Empire, I am a former Jedi padawan.
This girl was Maris Brood, an orphan zabrak who was trained by the Jedi, but during the Rise of the Empire turned to dark side of the Force and exiles himself in this planet in the Unknown Regions.
Maul: Very well, Maris... I am an perfect path to the Darkness, the true nature of the Force, become my apprentice Maris Brood...
Maris: Uggh, the Force in the Dark Side is more... yes... I accept, my master...
Maul: Very well, like the Jedi who returns, an New Sith Order will rises from Darth Sidious's blood, lets go my apprentice...
Maris: Ok, my master...
Maul and Maris leaves the planet and continues their exploration on Unknown Regions, searching for the Imperial Remnant and more Sith knights and apprentices...
